Repair KIT W460 speedo ??

my pride an joy ...w460 swb GE280 (1986)...have a small problem, the speedo is fine but the trip doesnt work anymore..

i have taken the speedo appart and discovered that a small tooth gear is worn out.... so is it posible to by this part anywere ???
Or is it a new speedometer for me..??

 Hello Søren,

Ordinarily, parts for repairs cannot be got from dealers, they would be interested in selling you a new head.

It may be possible to have the part replaced but, I think the you would be better off sending the head for repairs.  Alternatively, you could try to purchase the item from the repairers directly, you never know.

I will PM you a list of repairers tomorrow.

 I had a speedo done at Speedograph lichfield, Nottingham, though about £100 , some years ago, speedo worked just not mile counter.
