Yeaterday at the Goodwood Festival of Speed I sat in the most powerfull (800 BHP) and most expensive (Cica £1/2 Million inc VAT) car I have ever sat in.

As I sat there I had this strange feeling of da ja vue. The door closed with a familiar clang, the cabin seemed a size and shape I am used to. The size of the windscreen and the view through was well the same as the car I had driven on Thursday. The door handles felt and looked, just  like my doorhandles. So we all can live a bit of this dream.

Any one not effected by the recession should get one - a Brabus G!!!

Re: Recession what recession

but can it apply any of the 800bhp to a corner without falling over? Great fun in a straight line but ultimately pointless! Isn't 800bhp a bit like gilding a turd?

Recession is for the majority, not the minority

I took 10 photos of it if anyone wants to see them. They also gave me a brochure- which is the nearest I am ever going to get to owning one!!! If I had one, I'd happily drive in straight lines everywhere!!

Not at that price. I'd just drive it up and down in straight lines with a big smile on my face. Still, I do have a brochure.......

selling it to buy something more sensible would not be easy either, think of the £100,000 depreciation on the 1st sale

Can't argue with that. The one at Goodwood was brought in on a transporter for that very reason- so it won't have any mileage on it.
It would be nice to have the money to afford one though, even if I didn't actually buy one!!! And it was  black. I'm a bit of a sucker for black vehicles

Re: Recession what recession

I've started a detailing business in Dubai and one of my clients is Brabus. Fortunately we get to see a lot of the GV12 cars and I have to say they are stunning. It's really for the super rich who want something extra special, and trust me it is. I love the interiors and in the flesh the exteriors look great. When I get a chance I will add some pictures up here of some of the cars we have done. Last week we detailed a car belonging to the Crown Prince of Ajman. Very special car.
