plastic tank
does anybody have a plastic tank for sale 1988 300gd, the last person that had it managed to melt the top of the tank with the exaust, so i can only fill it around half way, i know i could get it fixed but that would mean having the car stuck in the garage until it was fixed, thanks
Have you considered if one of these plastic weld people could do a repair job? If possible.
when / after you get it fixed make sure you fit the (hot spot cover)
i had a re call on mine in 1990 to have this fitted
no problem in all this time since
or you could shorten your exhaust and have a side exit in the style of a w463
