Just like to introduce myself as Pete from cambridge, uk. Currently working in the Gambia and have 3 VW syncro vans. Looking at possibly replacing one of the vws with a G. I will be after more advice on this very soon.
Welcome Pete; if you have the T25 model syncro vans they were made in the same factory as the g-wagen, these are very adaptable and have been fitted with interesting engines not least the Audi quattro turbo engine. This I belive is a perfect fit in that its layout is a reversed quattro car, ideal for a rear engined conversion.

Yes they are all T25 syncros and the very rare 16inch wheel models. My daily drive has a 230bhp subaru flat six from a SVX.
