Magazine article on G Wagens crossing Australia by Canning Stock Route
Latest issue (December) of Mercedes Enthusiast has short article with some good photos of the recent trip across Australia by group of Gs. As previously reported, all bar the G300 Professional destroyed their rear shock absorbers! Apparently, the G350s were all fitted with AMG sports suspension - doh!!
Nice to hear the G's reputation is restored - well spotted and reported.
What were they thinking of? Any one know what the Australian G-Wagen club reported on the issue?
We haven't as yet - other than on the AGOA online forum . I have a request in to interview one of the Senior Managers who was responsible for the trip but as yet he hasn't found any spare time. I will be reporting on the trip in the next G'ocentric (our newsletter) which is due out in the next couple of weeks.n You will find a link in the AGOA forum which will take you to the MB version of the trip.
