leather seats from a 190e
are thes the same width as a 463's seats

Look similar, however mine are like, grey not brown. :)
Though looking again, the G's seats (compare to the photo) look as if they have slightly higer wings on the 'bum' part and deeper lateral wings going up the sides.
just bought a mint pair of recaros from a 190 Cosworth, these are an inch narrower than the seats in a 124 series car and close enough in width to the 463's
and these are how they are fitted, took 2 hours, rear seat squab is a direct replacement, covers and foam seat base need to be swapped over, very easy but a near pefect fit. I have lost the arm rests but the "recaros" are much more comfortable. I now need to decide whether to recover the originals, or bin them and look for a match to the seats for the rest of the trim?
Goes with the bling steering wheel.

the seats you are looking at on ebay are nice, but not a perfect colour match..
the seats you have fitted look great !! they are actually from the 94-95 model c class. not really a recaro as fitted to the 460,
but possibly made by them. the material pattern is very nostalgic. its the exact copy of what used in the classic racing mercedes benz fleet, 'the silver arrows' from the 1950's.
the 190E cosworth seats were recaros , and very bolstered. mark vulture fitted the front and rear seats from a cosworth to a black 460 cabrio here restored for a customer years back.... the half leather versions used the small grey check material as found in the 460 upto 85.

you are right, but that colour leather might suit with some of the brown/tan interiors. The guy I bought the seats off said they were from his 190 but as they have no wear at all I would accept they are from a newer model. The bolsters are very similar to those in my wifes Focus ST and what I have had in Golf GTI's, a sort of fake recaro. Mercedes stamps all over them but nothing from recaro themselves

infac the seats you have are from the c class sport model. so definately a sports seat, i forgot to mention...
