Re: INSURANCE

 Try:
Adrian Flux (if you are a GWO member, they discount for that)
NFU

Worth noting that there is quite a lot of discussion at the moment over agreed values on claims. Insurers have been very poor at getting this right (understandable given how few Gs are around). If you truck is in esp good condition, it might be worth getting an agreed value policy.

Re: INSURANCE

Don't bother, they won't have the first clue. I'd guess that the average settlement for a 300GD/ 230 is around £4K.

If it *really* is concourse (mechanically and aesthetically) then you could be looking at real replacemenrt values north of £15K

Unless you go for an agreed value policy though, you will never get the true value from them, irrespective of bills/ evidence you have.

Agreed value will limit the number of miles you do though (ususally around 5K)

This seems to be the problem doest it? even if i was to send photografic evidence we'll still be stabbing in the dark here, most of the people you speak to dont even know what a G Wagon is? people at the insurance company's i mean...It's a real tough one getting the best deal and having the peace of mind?

Re: INSURANCE

It is a problem I agree.

Best bet for now is an agreed valuation. Having said that, you need to be able to evidence the work carried out. Which G are we talking about here - the one you just posted pictures of (white I think)?
