Insulation
Hi all, does anyone know an aftermarket product the same as the aluminium backed fibre blanket that's used in the transmission tunnel of the 460? I believe it's not available at MB any more? Regards Scott

I've used both of these chaps and they are reliable and knowledgeable. Call them up, tell them what you've got and what you want and they're very keen to help you. Noise killer actually sells the mats by the metre and that might be more helpful to you.

The part number for the transmission tunnel insulation is:
A460 682 01 01/ A 460 682 06 01, this part is chassis number sensitive.
My suggestion would be, is arming your self with your vehicle chassis number, talking to your local dealer. The EPC has not blanked this part off the illustration, an indication it should be available.
I was unable to confirm this with my local dealer, they are closed until Tuesday.
