I'm replacing my front indicators and what I thought   was going to be an  easy removal of the plastic base - it's not. :(
I've loosened the screws but they aint coming out.
So I'm assuming they have nuts on other end and I'm going to have to take the wheel arch Liner out and get to them through wheel arches.

If that's the case - any tips on removing wheel arch liners would be appreciated.

There are about 9 screws (I think with a 7mm bolt head) holding the wheel arch liner in. Just undo them and gently ease it out. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes. A good light will help locate all of the screws as some are not obvious, but be careful of all the dirt that will fall out if you haven't removed them in a long time.

 Thanks M2dxb,

Yes 7mm for Liner  and 8mm for indicator nuts. I thought liner screws would be a pain, but they came out easily.
Nice new  White condensation free Front and Side indicators. :)
Job Done
thanks again

Great news, now you also know how to get to the antenna, diff lock vacuum reservoirs and a bunch of other useful stuff.

 Absolutely.

Though my aerial is been moved to roof by a previous owner .).  It took me a while to work out what was missing from the bracket/holder that is still there behind the liner. :)

Aerial repositioning now explains why interior light fitting was upside down..
