wots up, can't u trust a scouser ? if u got off ur sunbed the fuse box was on the passenger side(left hand side) and there was holes in the chassis leg on the passenger side too for the steering box. the ignition was on the wrong side too, key is in the post
Hi John
Yes i can help, just PM me your email and tel number, we should have exchanged details the last time we met!!
I have the factory build spec available to email...and maybe some more stuff if i dig a little...
Yes it is (was?) LHD, the 17 in the middle of the chassis denotes that (460 212 17 020186)
It was also Red from the factory, code 3000 which is Flame Red or Post Office Red and is a common colour on early G's and also lots of municipal 461 series for Fire Appliences etc .....obvioulsy! It is also a standard RAL colour i believe.
If you want to drop me the chassis numbers of your other G / G's i can do the same for those too
Cheers

Hi John
That Cabrio chassis is 1 of only 684 of the 280GE M110 engined 460.212 chassis produced in LHD and only the 3rd of 17 in 3000 Flame Red, of which 640 were MB badged models and 44 were Puch badged.
Only 5 of the same 460.212 in RHD and none of the 689 in total came to the UK direct from the factory.
So a rare beast over here, even if it is RHD by default.
In LHD over 130+ were supplied into mainland Europe but outside of Germany, (which took 370+) and France, Italy and Greece taking most of these, the RHD ones went to Germany x3 and Italy x2
Yours was supplied to country code 226 which is a German area of Muenchen (Munich)
Am i right in thinking you have another one the same or is it a different engine?
Cheers
