 Hi All,

I soon will be taking ownership of a G 463 - '93 plate LWB GD300 (Thanks Bill!)

Can anyone point me to the best place to get this baby insured?
It will be our everyday family vehicle and (discounting road trips) on average I reckon we'll be doing 8-10k a year...

-Will be putting up pictures as soon as it is ready....

Cannot wait to take ownership
:) :)

My wife has 5 or 6 years no claims is 30
I've not got any NCB and am 34

Any help appreciated....

The usual advice is Adrian Flux paricularly if you're going to off road. Both my G's are with them for 4+ years and i do ring round every year and havn't beaten like for like quotes.

 I find NFU very good.

Adrian Flux -  GWOA discount with off road cover.

But read the small print for the off road cover!

I use competition car insurance, they cover off road sporting or rally etc included with track days in the policy, so you will be insured if you go upside down on public/private off road competition.  I paid £600 fully comp with euro cover/track day/ off roading included.

They also apply 4 years no claims as extra free as a bonus for insuring with them.

Thanks Grendle, IanA2, Panzer, Spider and G Singh!

Couple of questions on the back of all that:
Do I just mention that I am member of GWOA- or are they looking for some sort of proof?

Mr G Singh: With the cover that you mention; is this too with Adrian Flux too?
The extra cover as well as the bonus for signing up sounds great!
(have you a contact that I could speak too?)

IanA2, What could I expect with NFU- anything similar?
(is it these guys: http://www.nfumutual.co.uk/)

Thanks in advance
:)

(Ps. I've not properly introduced myself yet to the forum will do so once I have the keys and upload pictures)

Can't wait…..

Yup you have the right site. Iirc it's around 300 squids. Their CS is superb, nothing is too much trouble and you can pay monthly at a miniscule interest rate, I have three with them. They remind me of FD in CS terms.

hth.
