Headlamp grilles
I decided to fit these after I removed the original bulbar. It is becoming increasingly difficult to have a bulbar in your truck in the EU due to redtape.
I sourced the grilles from this company: http://cartopsgw.com/mercedes_benz_g_class_light_guards
Craftmanship is excellent and price is about half of what Mercedes demands for the original ones, though there is no noticeable difference between them.

Mortinson. Just out of interest, I have a question: if you car was originally fitted with a bullbar aren't you allowed to keep it? I think the EU rule about no more bullbars to be fitted on NEW vehicles came into force in about 2006. I thought every car that is manufactured before then that either had a bullbar fitted or the bullbar is bought from "existing stock which has survived since prior the new rule date", can be fitted with a bullbar. Is this not the case on the continent? I'm pretty sure that this is what the law - admitedly extremely woolily - says here. I'd assume it is a pan-EU phenomenon. Is this not the case in Spain? the head light grills went for 25,95eur
rear light grills 61 eur
flasher gards 96,30 eur
oh I don't know Spanish prisons are nicer than British ones and you might make lots of new friends.
Unfortunately not. The Spanish case is not dissimilar to that of Germany in that every single thing needs to be written in the docs of the car -The Fahrzeugbrief- or else needs to be removed prior to each MOT. That would not be a problem, but if i were to run over a pedestrian the insurance company could deny indemnity and i could end up in jail... not an attractive prospect.
