G55 Pistonheads.
Something not quite right about this advert, very strange description of the vehicle and appears to be very expensive.

I am currently on holiday in Palma and I am about to open my third bottle of Rioja so appologies if this advert is perfectly legit and it is me who id slightly strange.Cheers.
Hi
It is on a Dublin 05 Registration plate so the VRT of some 15000 euro would have been added to the price...special order build RHD and not ordered by UK MB so could have paid a premium price direct from the factory .....
The latter part of the description came from....(hint: ask google).
Those strange codes might be factory codes for options, taken from the datacard, otherwise not sure anyone would read the whole advert.
I hope that you are sharing the contents as if you are not, 25/27 units would suggest that you are another Scot with serious alcohol issues. Only joking, take it easy!
It is most likely the G that has been parked in a Belgravia car park for quite some time. Description is bizarre, looks like an attempt to hide the fact that the asking price is £20k too high.
Hi All
This G' belongs to Tony Fitzpatrick brother of John who owns the Fitzpatrick group of companies
Hotels in Ireland and America Tony was a property developer in Ireland with a base in London where the G is located ( Knightsbridge area) the asking price takes into account the current prices and build specifications of the new Gs' which appear to be "littered" round the UK with little or no movement on sales..it is registered in Ireland and as a result attracts an annual road tax in excess of E 3500. it also falls into the increasing annual UK road tax category if put onto the UK register..it would require a UK MOT in order to tax it .....
Not sure that I understand your point regarding the asking price: the G55 is 6 years old, the specification is not identical with the current cars and the M113 ML55 engines is known for showing signs of trouble around the 45k mile mark (according to AMG fans only when driven hard whilst the engine oil was still cold).
sounds about 15-20K too dear to me
id say max 50K, regardless of what the g350 are selling for, as soon as they are on the road there worth £45k !
Hi
I was referring to what appears obvious from recent offers of G' for sale in the media.... with the recent listing of prices for new RHD G's suddenly all the rubbish of the day is worth more in the eyes of most vendors .....some simply ridiculous prices are currently being asked for "prettied up" 460s... not to mention early petrol 463s this G' pricing may well fall into that category
well, if we are all honest i am sure that its not really worth any more than 30K but thats G's for ya, if we look at an example like a four year old M5 with the v10 engine in good condition for 15K..................if does seem disproportionately high.
Sound motor!
High price though, agreed £50k top.
It is maybe overpriced, but not too much, maybe 10k.
This one on mobile has similar mileage and build date, but it is a LHD with not so desirable color and they are asking about 60k GBP.
