G value and advice?
Hi there,
I have a G, had it put togeter to use as a site vehice, carry a few tools in the back and stuff.
Also removed the rear seats so i now have a snap on toolbox bolted in the back. Have a set of two red bucket seats that i was going to put in the front but just havent had the chance.
Now the job has finished on that site so i no longer need my G.
Not sure wheter to take out the toolbox and put the rear seats back in or sell it the way its is.
What do you guys think? How much do you guys think shes worth?

Hi
what is it a 460 ?? from the pics a lot of cosmetics needed to bring it back to original specification..
a couple of pictures of the interior would be usefull, I like the colour but as Peter asks what does it have under the bonnet and how much do you want for it?
According to the DVLA it's an 1987 300GD
Hi there.
That's a smart little thing. I need something to fit a snow plough onto, how much do you want for it and where is it located, cheers.
i need the rear seats as long as you are not on the moon or some where equally as far away from Oxford
Hi there.
Thats a bit of a result for me if you are located in the west of Scotland. I am assuming you are in Ayrshire somewhere. I am in the Highlands but travel to Glasgow regularly.
I don't know very much about the 460 model of G wagon so can't really help you with the value although I am sure that some knowledgeable person on here will be along shortly to enlighten us.
As long as it is a reliable runner and the four wheel drive and difflocks work properly I would be happy to take it off your hands. I am currently using a JCB for snow clearing and really want something lighter that can push a plough. Thats all I really need it to do so I am not to worried about how it looks inside as long as it starts and runs reliably.
It's cool, leave it like it is, especially as there's someone who'll have it like it.
It's worth what someone's prepared to pay for it. I think a SWB 460 with all the trimmings, in good condition and with provenance would sell for £5k tops (with a few exceptional examples probably reaching 8 if rare or ultra low mileage etc). I reckon that puts yours somewhere around £2.5k. Maybe a bit more if you can find a buyer who's after the stuff you've fitted. It's worth less to someone who wants to make it 'orginal' but what would be the point?
Cool paint job for a snow plough
I think that's reasonable and I'd be tempted myself given the snow we've got in Somerset at the moment if geography weren't such an issue!
Interesting snow plow on mobile.de, but expensive:

Jings ok where do i start.
First the G is in west of Scotland about 30 miles from Glasgow.
it is a 1987 300GD M2 2998cc engine
The speedo reads 12467 miles i'm guessing this is probably been round the clock though.
I got it about a year ago when it was a nice faded blue colour.
Had it undersealed sprayed yellow fitted roof bars with a beacon, spot lamps and led flashing lights.
Also had heavy duty springs and koni shocks fitted.
And it big alloys and tyres
i'll try and get a pic of the inside today.
Don't really know how much to sell it for, thought you guys might have an idea of how much its worth? overall it is very tidy for its age. Has a bit of rust on the frontg bumpers but thats really about it.
