Think my relay has packed up...
Bit of a flutter last night, when reversing into driveway, then would not start today, have a spark, but no fuel out of feeder tube with ignition on.

I am working in Europe, so would need to get replacement by mail order, any ideas? part numbers

Re: fuel pump relay

To test the pump relay (by elimination) remove the relay from its socket, bridge terminal 7 and 8 (connections 30 and 87) and the fuel pump should work. If so, it is your relay.  Do this test quickly to conclude.  Also check the fuel pump connections, apply direct supply (for safety, disconnect the connections at the pump), if the pump does not work, then it will be the pump that has packed up.

Please supply Chassis No: and if possible, Engine No: as well for relay part number.  Some  do have engine number cut offs.

Re: fuel pump relay

Thank you, Rakesh...it may well be a connection problem, as i replaced relay and pump 2 years ago...

Re: fuel pump relay

Back on the road...THX to Pistonhead and Fixwin
ran a live wore back to the pump and it kicked in, then shorted relay terminals 30 and 87 and the pump again kicked in...

so off to Eurocarparts and parted with £111, slotted it in and she started on the button as usual...
