Hello all, I am finding the drivers front seat on my G is starting to "hang" to the center and feels a bit flabby on the back rest, IE It is a little loose. Is this a simple fix with a metal component in the seat back where it connects to the seat base? The leather given it's 14years of age is in good condition and not a reason to replace the front seats if I don't have to. Let me know if anyone has had similar issues.

Thanks

It is common for a very much used vehicle for the seat to sag and loose shape.

It is possible to get new squabs to replace onto your current seat and a job for an upholsterer whom you can locally find in your area.

If you have seater heating elements which need replacing, these are expensive.

Check with your local dealer giving him your vehicle chassis number.

the frame can twist too and the welds can fail

Thanks chaps, the seat is fine, it doesn't need redoing, it is just the seatback. I will see what the dealer says on my next visit.
