front headrests

I want to remove the headrests to put on seat covers. Is it possible?

Yes it is, at the base of the head rest there is a round clip through which the head rest support goes into. If you look at the round clip there may be a button to press in and whilst this is pressed in pull out the head rest. The pulling has to be done squarely or you will end up in a mechanical lock, making it difficult to pull out.

If there is no button, then tilt the head rest forwards and at the same time pull out.

Thanks, they were just very stubborn! Brute force got them out, I just didn't want to break anything
