Hello there...

I have a W460 280GE, and i am in the process of getting it back on the road for the winter as its been sitting on the drive for the past 6-months.

I am in the process of replacing the rear door and at some stage will be replacing the wheels/tyres and maybe a spring lift; i have two spare wheel holders - the original one (triangular in shape) and the one from the replacement door (round in shape) neither have part numbers.

The original one only seems to take an alloy wheel; my question is about how you would fit a wheel with a larger tyre onto the back door, it looks like the tyre will at the very least rub against the paintwork?

Regards,

James

Hi James you require a "long shank" mounting..yours must be for steel wheels..

thanks fixwin - is this an easy to source part or is it an A-Team welding job?
