I would of much rather been in that G than the Sprinter...
On the Russian G-Wagen site there is a collection of photos of G's that had been in accidents. In most cases the cockpits were in good shape.
Though they missed the one that had run over a landmine....

I'm surprised the engine and wheels off of that Sprinter haven't already been scavenged for a G Wagen somewhere. :D
