Gusti,

Welcome to the forum. It's refreshing to learn that this place is becoming so much "of age" that it attracts enthusiasts from all over the globe.

However, and regarding your particular question, I have to warn you that Gs in this country have the steering wheel in the funny side of the car which makes them unsuitable for export to countries other than a few ex-colonies and others with a sense of tradition as high as this country's -read Japan-.

If you want to look for old, cheap Gs, your best bet would be good old Germany, where you will be able to find the good, the bad and the ugly of the GWagen world.

Thy these:

Good luck!

left-right hand

of course i know that in UK you have right hand stering but also must be some cars with right hand and that's why they would be cheaper in uk.

Hey, Gusti, I apologize if I sounded smart ar$e or something like that, but you would be surprised to learn how very few older LHD Gs are there in this country. I've had two of them and have also sold one (to Ireland) but I've only ever known of another one.

In any case, best of luck with your search.

Cheers,

Gusti,

Don't take these guys too seriously, they speak with a wink and a nudge.

I think Tom is just saying that if he had difficulty importing a G from the UK to Ireland, he can't imagine the "possible" difficulties in getting one the distance into Albania from the UK.

Mortinson is right,

If Albania is Left Hand Drive then you are better off purchasing in Germany as G-Wagens are expensive in the UK. And I would also imagine much cheaper to import from Germany as you are closer and don't have to deal with getting them off of "the island".

Hi Gusti.
If you really want to buy in the UK you can try http://www.autotrader.co.uk or http://www.exchangeandmart.co.uk,, but as has already been said, i think your best off buying from Germany or Belgium. In the UK you will find a choice of about 30 secoundhand G's at any one time, compared to hundreds in Germany.
