  hi everyone,

My dad is a massive fan of these jeeps and I'm trying to arrange a trip for him to the factory in Graz. He has completely renovated one G wagon already and is now onto his second!

I was wondering if anyone would have any information on the factory and how best to arrange a tour/visit? Do they operate tours, is there any specific days which are better than others etc? Would you have contact details for the factory?

this is a great website and I'm delighted that I found it. It's a very specialist subject and difficult to find information on so any help you can give would be great.

Kindest regards,

Stephen Cluskey

Graz - 2012

Hello Stephen,

A proposal for a planned visit, towards the end of February, or early March 2012 is on going at present.  The planned visit is to be scheduled for a Monday, but NOTHING has been confirmed or finalised as yet.

Currently, we are waiting a response from the people at hand; unfortunately, these things do and are take their time.

Mark, will advise the forum with more news on this topic, as and when, it develops, so 'watch this space".

Cheers,

thanks for the replies and sorry for calling it a jeep, rookie mistake!

I'll keep checking back so. Disappointing that they don't offer tours to Joe Public..

To be honest, MB UK are not really that responsive. I have been having a nightmare deaing with them.

The direction I am getting from MB is that I have to discuss with the Product Marketing MAnager and she can set up a visit, however she has not returne three phone call's and about half a dozen emails. Rest assured I am trying to push from my end and see what we can do.

If other people are trying other routes please carry on
