That looks like a very special and super clean 460....i love the interior.
Looks good at first sight , interior not original ! all retrimmed and not such a good job .... amg badges ?? not original brake light and fitting looks messy, back door detached at bottom .... worth a look at ..
Fred are you looking at the same vehicle !! The interior trim looks to be done to a good standard and if the ebay advert is to be believed then it may well have been specced for the President of Mauritius.
I don't understand the comment about the back door being detached at the bottom, looks fine to me.
I would say that this G460 appears to be in very good condition and would be well worth a look.
Does look tidy BB, is it my eyeballs or are the indicator lens held on with black insulatoin tape ?
Looks nice, but I'm not sure about a 280 in a LWB, my 300 in a SWB is sluggish enough. Also, are they as stated Recaros? Otherwise nice

my only concern would be the centre diff lock and metelic paint....
otherwise well worth buying this and sending it to axel 606

Interior is better than most 460's i have seen in the UK!
The AMG badges are subtle, took some finding...but easily swopped as i guess the exhaust should be...
I agree the rear fog light and number plate lights are non original and dont look right....
and the Back Door does have its left lower retaining strap detached at the bottom for some reason.
Still looks a solid truck....and worth a look

Huss is taking the piss out of the sellers spelling of metallic (metelic !) and the G460 does not have a central difflock unlike the 463 model.
The advert would appear to have been put together by someone who does not know a great deal about G Wagons.

yep, original 460 recaros...
Not bad condition, simple case of verifying the provenance, by calling up the said embassy/dropping them an email for verification.
I think someone does know what they are selling - the pictures posted would be of most of the places you would expect to see rust starting to grow on a G. If its been in Mauritius then I would have expected to see some salt/rust - as your never far from the sea there.
Worth a look and I am sure if you have a spare afternoon, post up and see if a member is free who could come along and take a look - usual price is a good pint and a chat afterwards. See price has gone up by 2K since looking last time.
As pointed out no Centre lock on these - try and get the VIN number and post here, our resident Sherlock could shed some light on it! But worth a looky - see!

I shall have to examine my seats carefully for they look remarkably similar.
It looks pretty superb to me... Its made it onto my hallowed Ebay watch list.
Not totally original but not far off. Interior suits the car and is done well. I'd budget for tyres as they are a mis-match. Should have a decent service history because of it's diplomatic use etc.. Go and see it as the body looks great to me and you wont see this spec (comfort options, walnut and leather) come up very often. Great colour. I'd buy it if I did'nt already have one like it!
Drive it, test for wheels skipping on full lock in low ratio, knocks and bangs etc.Check spring seatings not rusted etc. It will pull well as a 280. When the engine and fuel injection are set right it's pretty quick (on the flat at least).Crap mpg however!
It's disappeared from ebay, without I think, reaching the reserve.
