Early G Wagon wanted for magazine photo shoot
Hi - firstly, I hope that no-one minds me posting this here - if they do then please feel free to delete or move the post as you see fit and accept my apologies.
Secondly, let me introduce myself: my name is Martin and I work for Classic & Sports Car magazine in the UK. I am on the hunt for an early(ish) G Wagon for a photo shoot for the magazine where it will more than likely be paired with a similar-aged Range-Rover.
Ideally, the vehicle needs to be as original in specification and appearance as possible, be in presentable condition and road-legal. We would be looking for the car and owner to come along for a day (during the week unfortunately), and have some photographs taken of their car by our professional photographer - copies of these and the finished article in the magazine will be provided once printed. Fuel expenses will be covered and will make sure you don't go hungry on the day!
We will fully insure the vehicle so that our journalist can have a quick drive, and any driving for photography will be carried out at low speed.
Location depends on where the vehicles are located, but in order to get the most out of the day then we will try and minimise travel if possible.
If this sounds of interest to any owners, please get in touch. You can email me by clicking here, or you can call me on 0208 267 5383.
Many thanks
Martin

Hi Martin
What do you mean by early(ish) bearing in mind that G has been in production for over 30 years .........
Also which engine would be appropriate if you are comparing with RR of similar vintage .........
That is a rather vague request is it not. Do you want an early 460 model or an early 463. What age and model of Range Rover are you going to use for the comparison.
I like these type of comparison tests but they ony work if the two vehicles are of a similar spec and age so some more detail would probably help your cause.
