Harwich to Esbjerg is from £229 car and 2 people, then a drive all the way to Sweden crossing the new suspension bridge that is 10 miles long. The toll is approx 36 euro each way. Best weather is late June or July though you can get thunderstorms. Very flat and Southern Sweden seems to be full of wheat fields. Take alcohol with you or buy it in Denmark as it is much more expensive in Sweden.

Re: drive in the swedish wilderness soa4x4.se

Yes youre right the area I live in in quite flat im on the south east corner  but where this event takes place its about a 4 hour drive north so its allot of forest and small lakes also its hillier than here where im based ,the ferry prwales mentions is a good way and you get to see denmark southern sweden I have a frient who comes over allot with his family he either comes that way or sometimes he will go to amsterdam and drive from there to the top of germany then up through denmark I believe there is also a ferry from immingham aswell although I think its a truckers ferry, as for the prices of accomodation there are travel lodges etc in denmark and sweden so it depends on your budget there is also more expensive hotels theres also b+b you could try the swedish and danish tourist board im sure if you google it the re will be contact details there hhope this helps a bit ,cheers the noo,don
