diff locks cut..?

Red g recently on ebay 280 swb auto, someone mistook diff lock pipes for brake pipes and cut them :? central diff works, should this effect day to day driving?

No effect. Just might be a good idea to check other pipes in case the not-very-clever mechanic also cut them

there is no centre diff lock on a 280 /460 ge ???

Heres his reply: Just to clarify mate the diffs work fine just don't lock in low box but u would only need that for serious off roading if u were wondering

Hi

there is no interface between the transfer box selections and the diff locks on a 460 ..totally different functions...diff locks can be engaged with the drive train is in any mode..whatever!!! somebody cut some pipes so the hi low ranges work on the transfer box but the difflocks cannot work because the pipes are disconnected --not the end of the world
