Clear Indicators
I'm looking to replace the original orange indicators on my W460 230GE with the clear equivalents.
However, I hear that it is not as simple as replacing the plastic cases and the bulb fittings are different. Is this true?
1. Can anyone point me to the sets that I need to buy? (Front and side)
2. How easy are they to fit?
No, if the original lights are in good order, then the newer lenses for the main (top of wing) indicators are interchangeable. New from MB around £18 each A4638260057
You will need orange bulb (halfords), the side indicators are just simpler to buy as new units A4638220020 - they aren't expensive.
they are a straight swap....takes about 5 mins ..the parts you requirre are...
Front indicator lens ..clear A4638260057 £13.72p each........ two required
Side indicator lamp...clear A4638220020 £5.99p each..........two required

If you have given them your chassis number they have just worked out the numbers for the standard factory orange lamps!!

With regards to your order I have come up with different numbers for the lens (A0008262357) and for the blinker lamp (A0008207221).
Are you happy with your part numbers?
