Buyer beware??
I'm not in the market as I've already got my hands full, but have just come across this, looks pretty clean but the price is what caught my eye.. Got to say I'd be suspicious, I know there are cloned adverts on ebay where the seller once contacted will say he's been posted abroad and if you send the cash your to good to be true vehicle will be delivered right to your door..
Is this one of those?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MERCEDES-G-WAGON-G-CLASS-G-WAGEN-300-GEL-AUTO-...
i reckon there should be a '1' infront of the '3'...
And this is the 3rd one I've seen like this this week http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=221312807402&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1120. Ebay wont do much but you can report it. I think they remove them. But come on. The wheels and tyres must be worth £2000!
The above is a members truck and was for sale through G Wagen in Caversham. It was posted on here a week or so ago...?
Spider1V
it happened when I had mine up for sale. The thing is, if its happening with this frequency to cars thay arent exactly in every town, how much does it happen with normal cars?
Good point, as I was trawling through auto trader on line (as I'm prone to do) I noticed a couple of very cheap Range Rovers, email contact only, hi spec about 6 years old and asking around 7K! I was wondering what it is about, but seems clear now.
thats what 6 year old range rovers are usualy worth though?
Well at least it's been identified but this seems to be occuring quite a lot, I think eby should be doing more to eradicate ads like this but they don't seem to be doing much do they?
