brighter driving bulbs

Hi All...can anyone advise me please on what brighter bulbs i can buy for the main beam please as mine are very dull..
I was told that Philips are good?

I have used the Halfords Ultra Brigjt H4's. A massive improvment on the orginals. If your lucky they do a buy one get one free. However when I did buy them The  manager in the local store did say they were upgreading them around about Xmas - which is now. So could be better!

Thanks Joe i am on my way now ..buy one get one free sounds like a bargin to me..
Thanks for the link to the older post i might as well clean up the terminals while i'm at it..sunny up north so i'll make the most of it

I think these are one of the brighteast legal bulbs.

I agree with Mark - Ring Xenon Ultima are the bees knees of replacement bulbs whilst still being legal - fitted them to the G and lights are now noticeably better than than the headlights on my ML ...... must get around to fitting same bulbs in the ML as well!
