I have just found a relay in the drivers footwell of my 230GES - BOSCH 0 332 014 113
I think it is a fuel pump relay - but car seems to drive OK
Where does it come from and what is the best way to refit it.
Thanks in antisipation

Re: BOSCH 0 332 014 113

Hi

MB convert that Bosch number to MB Part Number A001 542 32 19

This also superseeds to A001 542 43 19 and A002 545 19 05 and A000 545 80 05

One of these numbers should also be on the relay?

MB EPC list is as DAY DRIVING LAMP relay? and shows 2 fitted?

As for the position in the fuse box you will have to refer to the owners manual or the legend inside the fuseboard lid etc

Hope this helps

I concur with Gav, checking with a Bosch agent; he informs me that this number has been superseded and the description for the superseded number is for a headlight flasher relay.  I can not say where it would fit but I would have thought it occupies an empty space in amongst the relay box under the driver's side panel.  The pin arrangements on the relay will give you a clue to where the position is.

Cheers,

Many thanks for the replies.

No other numbers on the relay other than 88 8787    085 /085/  and 12v 30A (with part no) all on different sides of relay.

Headlights flash OK

I will check the manual to refit
