£85k in the uk, when it's $85k in the states, why do we pay through the nose for everything. I'm sick of subsidising the yanks with our prices, I'm sick of having to subsidise the welsh too ffs! And that stupid Scottish parliament building ! In fact I hate everyone today .

Shame the Americans dont have the steering wheel on the correct side.... could save a fortune in cars. Same with most European cars out there they do a straight dollar to pound swap!

I have to take a dislike to the journalists comments on ride equality and handling, in my opinion the Land Rover is no better in either and if it was hand made, maybe the prices would be just as high. Even if the G-wagen was to be compared to a Range Rover, I still hold the same view. You cannot compare the G-wagen G350cdi, G400 and G500 to a Land Rover or Range Rover. The G-Wagen is in a class of its own.
Topgear (current paper edition) also has a bit on the G-class re-launch..couldn't find it on the website though (perhaps hasn't been 'webified' yet).
