Around El Vado
Yesterday we spent the day out with our Gs around the El Vado reservoir, in Guadalajara, Spain. Recent heavy rainfall had made the tracks versy slippery and thus a lot of fun to drive on. The target was to drive as much off the road as possible, with as little as driving on tarmac as possible. The track is 122.3 kms long, of which more than 100 are on dirt roads.
You can find the track here: es.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/view.do
And the usual pics here (not many 'cause I was driving, navigating and walky-talking all at the same time!): picasaweb.google.com/mortinson3/AroundElVado#
Seems you have, had a good day.
Welcome the posting.
Cheers,
Looks like a good trip!!
What tyres are on the green G, thats the same wheels as mine and I'm looking for a sort of off road tyre!
Thanks for sharing......fun day out. your trip reports read/look like an advertisement for visiting Spain: definitely on my 'to do' list
Tyres are BF Goodrich M/T KM2 235/85R16
They offer an excellent balance of Mud/wet tarmac performance.
Pricey, but highly recommendable
