The W127 was the little known link between the 190SL and 'Pagoda' models; it used the 190SL body/chassis but with a 2.2 litre six cylinder (rather than 190SL's 4 cylinder) power but apparently never made it beyond prototype stages and was superseded by the 'Pagoda' (W113).
