Has anyone fitted an aftermarket steering wheel. If so how did you connect the horn to the contacts on the G. I think there may be a bit missing from the one I got.
I've got the Hub section, and it and the Steering wheel came off another 463. It's Just that connecting the horn contacts to the G is a pain. I'll bodge something together, I was just hoping somehad done it already. I have had wooden steering wheels in my last two 4x4s so sort of think it should be standard now lol. The style doesn't quite suit the G wagon but it's better than the original Merc one which is just ugly. I have never liked the Merc steering wheel in any of their cars. Always thought they looked dated, out of place our spoiled the look of the interior.
