461 / 463 Body and Colour Change?
A question posed to the knowledgeable of the GWOA forum...
I am wondering how much work is involved in a colour change of a 461/463 - is the engine bay body coloured or can you avoid an engine out?
I found the thread posted on the colour change of an older G but they seem to have papered the engine bay which either means the bay isn't body coloured, or the owner decided it wasn't worth taking the engine out.
To retain the value of a modern G and not negatively effect the value, I'd want to have the job done properly; hence the question.
Thanks in advance.
on my 463, only the back of the bay is coloured, the sides are black, which is probably the case for all G's
just had mine painted, looks well nice : }=
ALL 'G' ENGINE BAYS ARE BLACK,SO NOT AN ISSUE.RGDS NIK
In the 463 engine bay the bulkhead is body coloured and the rest is matt black.
Bulkhead should be body coloured, inner wings etc black.
SORRY GUYS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT,BULKHEAD BODY COLOUR,WINGS BLACK.CHEERS! NIK
Thanks chaps; although we seem to have a disagreement on answers.
Are they all black, as suggested by Nik, or body colour on the bulkhead and the rest black, as suggested by the others. The bulkhead being body coloured would seem to make the most sense.
