well tbh honest for the first time i like the 463 interior. this is so much better than the c class style basic looking dash's that evolved after my personal favourite dash which was the original design version used until the first face lift when the 270 was introduced. was that in 2003 ?? that was a solid w126/w124 style dash which became basic A,B,C class style until this !!
this IS nice in my opinion....
sorry to create conflict guys but i honestly like this. i just hope they dont ruin the exterior design.

checkout the bulgarian firm Vilner....
They do some really bespoke interiors for G class
I liked it before I saw the negative comments, and still like it. As a top end, uptodate dash.
Probably a bit fiddly and fragile for a 'working' G, but how many new G's are working ones? Not easy to 'wipe clean' and get the dust off for example, forgetting about muddy boots.
Those old rocker switches and plain-bulb fitments are way overdue for replacement - this dash actually looks like the G has moved on after 30 years. Not keen on the curtains/rouche leather on the door panels though.
The instrument cluster looks like it's straight out the B Class.
B Class interior for S Class money, perhaps thats a good thing. ;-)
Mercedes have been doing that for years to the G Class.
