A friend of mine was working out there last year... every morning he'd text me pictures of the carpark where he lived (which was just a "normal" rented apartment, nothing grand and nowhere "posh") there would be G63's, Brabus's or maybe just normal G's there every day... uaually 2 or 3 of them.

Could you please state prices of used G500s' over there; I am assuming these are in RHD.
Also can you gain information on what dealers teher charge to convert from LHD to RHD assuming thats the way they do it.
A member here is considering a conversion of a 2001, G500.

And I guess a bit of sun is nice for a change. Except for the cost of getting there, a great location for G Wagon convention. From what your saying a tour of the local tesco car park could keep us occupied for hours !!

I have now moved out here lock stock and barrel..sold everything in UK and my plan is to work here..I have my son here now..earn good money and retire in Thai land..have no Plans to return to the UK at all, there is simply to much on offer here and the life style is great...I now have my FJ and off road every weekend in the desert..my son has his motox !...And working between here and Dubai..being single..theres lots to do, social life is great.
