Re: Wobbly 463 mirror

Is it the glass in the body or the body against the door bracket?

I have not found a way to adjust the latter. It's cast aluminium with not provision for tightening. If you wanted to try a repair, you would need to remove the mirror from the door and see what you could make .

Re: Wobbly 463 mirror

The mirror is attached to the door by three bolts on its cast-aluminium base.

If you remove this from the door (inner door card needs to be removed for access), and after removing the rear gasket on the mirror base,  you will see that the folding plastic part is attached to the aluminium base via a large nut on the inside. you may need to tighten this to remove any play in the swivel joint.

You may also need to unplug the electrical connectors on the mirror and thread those through, if you need more room for access.
