Wiper arm
Morning all, iv managed to break the passenger side wiper arm on my 300GD, I'm having trouble locating a replacement, the usual car part shops can't help, the wiper has is Bosch number 36588, also I know this has been covered many times but can anyone for certain tell me if you can replace just one wiper spindle (passenger side) on a late 460 (1989)? Thanks

Wiper arm or wiper spindle??. I take it the aluminium arm has broken where it fixes to spindle
I can not say as i dont know the part numbers
The spindle taper and size is common so its just a case of finding a vehicle with a wiper arm the same length as the g wagon one
Try vw golf for a start and if the same im sure they are easily obtainable and very cheap

The arm was avaible from MB a couple of years ago - not cheap.
New wiper arm from MB on order, coming from Germany £98

Morning gents,I posted three times as the iPad was having a wobbly! it's a bit of a double question, the passenger spindle is slightly loose ( but no leak ) and you are correct Gaz the passenger arm as broken at the spindle, I was going to do both if possible, from what I can gather you can't get just change one spindle the later 460s, however I did read that the Puch ones do fit ? Il take at the VW route. Thanks
