Will a 2010 front Grill fit a 1990 460
Hi all.. Does anyone know if the G55 AMG grill is the same size as my 460 280GE one ?
I would like to change just the Grille and paint the std headlight surrounds.. Are the grilles the same size and shape ( different design obviously)
i realize the wings are a different shape which I like.. Just not sure if I like the std grille..
All help appreciated..
Apologies if this had been covered but I'm not looking to do a full facelift .. Just change the grille.. And reposition the headlamp washer jets into the bumper.

Nope, the grill shape is different, you have to do it with the headlight surrounds and the blend pieces under the headlights

You will also need the carrier (? good name?) that is spot welded to the 460 wing to carry the 463 headlight surround.

Maybe it's possible to modify (cut) a 463 grille to fit. They are plastic. I've never tried.

I have considered that....was worried it might be too short width and legth wise.. and would have to add material.
. will take my time deciding.. having original powder coated for now...
You could be right there. I will measure and photo when I get a chance.

Thats disappointing news....i would have preferred something else... thanks for the relies guys.... might have to make something a little different myself.
