For when even your G won't get you through
Apologies to all those purists - but couldn't resist. And, who knows, it might be of interest to someone out there.

I have to disagree and say that a G Wagon will actually be able to get you more places than an Argo and in a lot more comfort.
I use these type of vehicles quite a lot and they are very useful for moving over soft boggy ground and deep snow if fitted with tracks. They also have some amphibious capability if they don't leak, which most of them do !
They are however not very good at crossing stony or uneven ground because they have no wheel articulation and minimal ground clearance. It is quite easy to get them beached with all eight wheels spinning and going no where. Because of the direct drive system they also run out of puff quite quickly going up steeper hills. They are also very noisy and extremely uncomfortable because they have no suspension, only the bounce in the tyres.
They are however excellent at doing donuts .
One of those is definitely on my list of things I want but do not need.
