Do we currently have an Events Secretary for when we can gambol once more?

Re: What's up?

Hi Nick,

By gambol, you mean 'run and play' ?

Goochie was GWOA Events.  There were a couple of ideas on the go (before March lockdown) :

1. a UK GWOA tour.  From South to North. A couple of days in 5 locales.  All GWOA welcome to join one or all segments of the tour.  Likely an early September gig, and now will have to be a goal for 2021.  It needs some planning to choose locations that have accomodation and something scenic/light of road/laning.

South East, South West, Midlands, North West(ish, maybe N.Wales), North East(ish).  Likely not Scotland, not NI,

2. a G tuning workshop meet.  A meet in Faringdon, Oxon at a 4x4 rolling road and tuning specialist (Dynotech RS) and campsite nearby.  This would be a Friday night to Sunday gig.  I wanted to do this in September 2020, and its still possible, but needs a handful of attendees.   I will re-promote this.

Other ideas -

GWOA attend regional car rallies.  MB ones, 4x4 ones.  All encouraged to come along.  This would need the resurrection of GWOA merchandise/handouts, banners, members centre.  There is still some financing to sort out for this.

Any suggestions?  -john

Indeed, John. To gambol: "To run or jump about playfully." The Grand Tour sounds interesting. Here's looking forward to hearing more about it from the enthusiastic Goochie.
