What's going on
For some reason I often check on Autotrader for G Wagons for sale.
How come there are so many not very old Gs available - lots of 2013, 2015, 2016 models - G350s and G63s
I kind of understand the 2013s - people change their vehicles when first MOT comes around - but the others??
Is it just that they want to own one so they can say they have or are these models just not as god as expected?
I guess many were bought as fashion accessories and people get bored or eventually figure that perhaps for everyday use they are heavy on fuel and a regular car may be better - certainly if you only drive around the west-end of London.
in relation to the number of G63s registered there seems to be a big supply; the more or less confirmed 2017 model might play a role; likely that supply will increase even further and demand will drop once the new 2017 model has been presented.
may be a good opportunity to acquire a G63, then, once the new model is out.
Hmmm - has anyone heard that this is a common problem with this engine?
Not a mechanic here but it sounds like an expensive problem to have.
