W463 Inside door handle wobbly
The inside door "handle" has 3 screws attaching it to the door. One of these screws goes through a tab which then hides behind the small piece of wood trim at the front of the door. Unfortunately this tab has broken. Anyone know if it's possible to just buy the tab and refit it to the handle? If not is there another solution other than to purchase a complete new handle.
It's the passenger side on a RHD vehicle in case that makes a difference.
I had the same with my drivers door, I will be changing it in time to a new one, but in the mean time removed the door card and put a screw into it from the back a bit to the rear of the handle.
Its fixed it perfectly, but will still put a new one on next year when I have the car trimmed.
