I've got a spare set of wheels with winter tyres, my "summer" Bridgestones are getting maybe a little tired and wondered whether any posters had favourite summer tyres - my use is on road and I'd rate comfort, safety in wet weather and understated appearance as top prioriites - I had thought Dunlop TG35s or maybe some Yokohamas might be nice?

If you are running 16" wheels, then Michelin Latitude Cross are great. They also work well in winter.

I don't think they are available in 18" though.

  • comfortable on-road
  • good off-road grip
  • 'A'-ratings
  • side-wall protection
  • sipes on tread for winter use.
