I'm hoping someone here can assist me with the dimensions / spacing for the mounting of my swb wolf  g Wagen body onto a SWB 460/1 chassis.

I need to make a steel frame with locking wheels to mount body onto.

I've been looking for a chassis drawing detailing these dimensions with no joy sadly.

Im at workshop tomorrow morning so realy need this info today and would be Realy great full if anyone could help me out?

i also have bonnet skin and supports a pair of wolf door carcasses if anyone interested , I've bought brand new.

Andy

Body mounts on a 463 NOT THE SAME get a copy of the g wagen Mercedes off road vehicle booklet .If you were a paid up member you pull get access to the gwoa library through our tech rep ,there are full jig dimensions in the front of it so you can build a dolly from these .This info will also be available through a search engine .

Thankyou for this.

yes I thought there was slight difference in frame mounts!  I have searched for hours now with no success unfortunately.  I did have a diagram of the swb 460 chassis frame but for the life of me cannot find it.

Anyone out there with this drawing that could send it to me me would be so greatfull

Maybe so, but at the time Axel wrote that, there was no "red banner" by his Avatar signifying paid up membership.

Hence the advicesmiley

Re: SWB 460/461/wolf chassis body mounting points

it was a cunning ploy by me to get him to join up fully (he had no red banner as  Ian pointed out hence my comment as it is a bit of a job to do for someone who may just get what they want and then be gone)  - chuckle devil

he joined up, i sent him the drawings - smileylaugh

i have spoken with him a couple of times and he is a happy chap.

so all is good.

basically he has been a member for a long time but as i understand it was not a paid up member any more he has just paid his 25 so he now a full member etc. the amount of things you can do as a fully paid up member and just a 'free' member are not a huge difference for someone who just wants to look in from time to time ,hence once someone starts to ask for specialist info i do not think it is rude to ask them to atleast commit to a years membership.

i did not know he has been a member on the forum albeit lapsed .

thanks fred! (have you fitted the brackets i sent up with tim yet?)
