Sun roof W463
I noticed a comment in an advert recently saying that the 463 they were selling had the "ultra-rare" tilt and slide sunroof. Is this true? My G has one (which I like very much) but I wasn't aware that it's a super rare feature. Or is it?
Quite the opposite in UK. I have yet to see a 463 without a sunroof. Ultra rare would be a 6L M119 V8 in a 463 :)

My 270 didn't have a sunroof !! Only realised this after buying it .... also was a four seater and not five ...
Lots of the adverts for G Wagens quote lines that make me cringe the sellers think were all thick!

I believe sunroof was a £1000+extra, , nice touch on a 463
From memory, all UK 463's had a Sunroof fitted as part of the standard options pack, unless it was deleted by the customer.
So most will have it...
There was a member many years ago who spent about 4 years looking for a G with no sunroof. I think he got a convertible in the end. :)

Yes, I rather thought it might be ad speak. Thinking about it, every MB I've had has had a sun roof. 2x163's 1x220 1x126 2x201's....the SL's and the SLK had different types of sun roofs
I have to say I prefer the "moon roof" on the Lexus GS.
I still have fantasies about putting my 6L lump into the 463 .....
