Steering box part numbers

I would like some help with steering-box part numbers, please.

I sourced a used steering box, supposedly from a G280E as a replacement for use on another W460 model.

However, I noted that the part number on the steering box is 461 460 01 01 which makes it an LS2B model 765502. The steering box appears to have very little play, but the mileage of the vehicle it came off was around 200k miles. I was just wondering whether with a 461 part number, the steering box may have been replaced at some point?

I think the original W460 steering boxes might have been 460 460 01 01 and that changed to 463 460 01 01 with the W463.

So, is a steering box with a 461 part number, likely to have been an original fit or a later replacement?
