Spare Wheel Hard cover- All Terrain tryes

Hi All

I tried to buy a hard wheel cover from  for my 460 280GE from Direct 4x4 only to be told they couldnt help because ive got all terrain tyres fitted!! they cater for cars with road tyres... waiting for a reply from elsewhere..

my tyres are 205/80/R16 With Goodyear wrangler AT tyres on original 16 inch Mercedes 460 alloy wheels... I want a lockable stainless steel ring with a plain gloss black cover...(I have a genuine star to go on it)  what size cover should i go for... ???

has anyone had simular problems any help gratefully received

My original thoughts that your request was for some wheel cover as in hub covers to which I thought of it being an odd request; surprise now releasing my own thoughts were at odds  blush I have clicked that you are after a spare wheel cover! wink

I did pose the question if the wheel cover of your tyre size could be catered for by them, but none have replied back - care to chase them for your self.

. i wonder if ' retail laziness' is the cause of the recession??   i've contacted two retailers regarding leather re-triming    and stainless steel exhausts....    no email back after a week...... they dont deserve my business or  my money.... shamefull...

Have you considered semi rigids? Cheaper and lighter.
