Yes, we were. Disappointingly there was only Bill, Mark (forum participant but G-Wagen-less) and myself -though I must allow for the super-short notice- but at least there was a Haflinger to cheer us up. This is a taster of what you guys missed today, Bill showing the rest of the attendance how to wade a swimming pool!

Nice to meet you guys,, i enjoyed watching the G's in action.... I must admit to having a little chuckle while watching Bill helping out a few Land Rovers :) .... Before i found you,, i saw a Range Rover that was fairly well bogged down,, in the middle of that pool.. (pic in above post)... Good fun to watch,, gonna be more fun when i get a G Wagen :lol:
I just found this site after 8 yrs in G wagen ownership and wot a bummer I missed that Borden do, it is only 1/2 hr from me and every other 4x4 event I have been on is all Landrovers......Thank god Im not alone,I thought I was odd

Oh, yes. The All Wheel Drive Club is organizing tomorrow 16 December an open day. Information is as follows:

Entry Fee £25.00 reduction of £5 for existing AWDC members

Special Instructions
This event is aimed at those with traditional 'family' vehicles who like to experience off road driving in a controlled environment. It gives the less experienced driver the opportunity to get a feel of what the 4x4 part of there car can do. £25 on the day entry, £20 for existing club members. You will be welcome please come and try your hand !

Into Bordon at the traffic lights turn West the site is 1 mile on the left, it will be signed using bright orange arrows.
