R.I.P. David Grix
Very sad to hear David has passed away. Here he is in his element...(he'd be keen to point out that he's the handsome one on the right). Taken 10 years ago in southern Algeria en route to Tamanrasset, which he'd waited 30 some years to visit after his first attempt failed in the sixties. We made it.

I'm sure the diaries of these adventures would make great reading and a true legacy.
I was lucky enough to view the truck and the specification was immense and mind blowing.
lets hope the adventures continue with the lucky new owner.

Yes, that's from the same trip. Hadi standing by my car. He and David were very close and a very entertaining double act at times especially when they squabbled;)
